It's how well your site is set up for AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews to read and understand. This check looks at what they can use: structured data, your titles and headings, whether AI crawlers are allowed in, and basics like HTTPS and a sitemap.

This check can't tell you that, because AI answers change from one question to the next. It tells you whether your site has what AI tools can use when they read it: structured data, enough written content and open access for their crawlers.

Schema markup is structured data on your site that states what your business does, where you're based and what you offer, in a form search engines and AI tools can read directly.

llms.txt is a file at the root of your website that gives AI tools a short guide to what your site contains. It's still only a proposed standard, and Google says its AI features don't need one, so treat it as optional.
